The rebranding of MAIR Group began with a deep dive into its history and ambitions. As a strategic investment group, MAIR is devoted to driving economic growth in the UAE, enriching communities, and improving the quality of life. With AED 2.34 billion in 2023 revenue and a portfolio spanning over 120 food retail stores and 12 community hubs, the company’s scale and impact provided a robust foundation for creating a powerful and meaningful brand identity.
Honouring Legacy and Growth
Founded in 1981 as Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society (ADCOOP), MAIR Group has evolved into a leader in food retail and commercial real estate. A key milestone was its 2023 merger with Al Ain, Delma, and Al Dhafra cooperative societies, solidifying its position as one of the UAE’s largest companies. Our branding process paid homage to this legacy while crafting a forward-looking identity that underscores MAIR’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Building a Strong Brand Foundation
Our collaboration with MAIR began in March 2023 with discovery workshops and market research to define the brand’s essence. This comprehensive process culminated in the creation of a full visual identity system, including a logo, typeface, colour palette, and templates for marketing, events, and communications. Each design element reflected MAIR’s mission—"ENRICHING LIVES. BUILDING FUTURES."—while reinforcing its heritage and scale.

Designing a Powerful Visual Identity
The new MAIR logo embodies the brand’s legacy and values through its dynamic design. Inspired by the Arabic letter "meem," the logo features ascending blocks forming a circle, symbolising strategic growth, community, and inclusivity. These elements, paired with a bold colour palette and structured grid system, create a distinctive visual identity that stands out in the investment sector.
